Nucleus 3
The Neodymium, Rare Earth magnets we use in our pedals are considered “permanent” because they experience an imperceptibly natural rate of demagnetization of only 1 percent every 10 years. Intense heat or stronger external magnetic fields of ATTRACTION can affect magnets, but a complete failure (wearing out) of magnets by magnetic REPULSION won’t happen. Any natural, but very slight decrease in strength that occurs will result in stabilization and continued utility.
Utilizing these natural forces of magnetic repulsion as the primary drum pedal mechanism has helped Drumnetics become a company based on inventive means to the experience of drumming. High Hat Stand
The Drumnetics Nucleus 3 Hi Hat stand works off magnetic repulsion, just as our pedals do. The same reliable function in the magnets' positioning, lifts the top hi hat cymbal for smooth left foot time keeping and open hat technique. As in our pedals, the Slide Adjust in the pedal board sets the amount of repulsion in the magnets for the action and feel you want.
