Information About The Drumnetics Pedal

With a completely different approach to function, we've replaced conventional spring formats with repulsion by reversed magnetic polarity. We want you to find out how dynamic and different a pedal can really feel!

Testimonial:

All i can say is... Freakin' AWESOME pedal man!

Springs?

Never goin' back.

This pedal has been my new best friend as of a few months ago.

Mike... awesome job dude.

stay cool...

Take a few moments to review the adjustment features below.

The patented Drumnetics Pedal offers four conjunctive settings that convey a completely unique action to which no other pedal compares.

Along with the clamp down mechanism, the magnets are seen here contained within their cartridges. They are positioned at centerline of the pedal to give a completely direct tranfer of energy in the repulsion of the magnets.

The clamp tightens down using a standard drum key on the lug bolt through the access at the base of the upright.

Get into the wonders of Magnetism!!

The alignment of the magnets is one way of creating the level of repulsion force in your pedal's over all action. This adjustment is made by using the slide adjust feature in the pedal board above the Drumnetics name.

This image helps illustrate what the field(s) of magnetism "look like". These magnets are interacting with fine grains of metal shavings.

As you slide the pedal board magnet up toward the front of the pedal, the magnets are set face-to-face and the repulsion increases. At this setting  -along with minimum spacing between the magnets - THE FORCE IS INCREDIBLY STRONG!!

With a quick loosening of the slide adjust set bolt, simply bring the magnet cartridge down toward its offset position and your repulsion force decreases. All of this can be done with your pedal on the bass drum for a quick fix, fine tuning.

The pedal board angle is another adjustment that combines with our other settings to give you that desired action.

Our adjustable linkage allows you to extend or shorten its length without needing to disconnect anything. Just loosen the two set bolts and it will slide to the desired setting.

The precision bearings at the primary moving connections have a level 5 ABEC rating, 10 being the highest. We feel that they suit the load capacities and performance requirements that occur in the pedal's configurations.

This view of the magnets displays how the adjustment wrenches are stored in the bottom cartridge and held in place by magnetic attraction. Yes, we did say attraction. With repulsion the primary utility of our pedal, its kind of cool that we can make use of the same magnet's attraction properties also.

The bottom magnet slides within a track to apply the amount of spacing between the magnets, which will increase or decrease the level of repulsion. Together, this feature and the alignment combine to provide your pedal with the level you want -  for the feel you want!

In the rotor cam, the center housing block for the beater shaft sets your desired beater angle. The adjustment is made using the set bolt pictured here. It tightens through to the other side's wing plate, which when loosened, lets you rotate the housing block.

Our pedal is provided with a beater made of a rubber compound by that we feel adds an intense dynamic off the bass drum head. The block is drilled out with a few thousands inch variance to allow for different sized shafts if you prefer another type of beater. As you can see in the housing block, use a standard drum key on the lug bolt to set your beater height.

Drumnetics is pleased to say that we are fully established in The U.S.A. Our pedals are machined out of high grade, ASTM aluminum at DMA Inc. in Charlotte, NC then hand assembled by yours truly for a personal quality control in each pedal. If I wouldn't play my drums with any pedal we make, you won't either.

If you have any questions and or comments, send an email or give us a call. We'd be glad to hear from you.

Many thanks everyone!

Mike @ Drumnetics
